[OT] “2048” / “Threes” game by iOS music app developer?

I seem to remember a “2048” game by an iOS music app developer.

Threes is the most well-known version of this game.

I’d like to support the music developer who made the clone.

  • Ha ha, not quite, but this looks pretty interesting.

Threes is still the best. All these years later I still can’t conquer it. It’s maddening. I think I could do it if I sat down and calculated odds and moved at an absolute snails’s pace, but that’s really no fun.

2048 sucks. 1. Swipe right 2. Swipe down. 3. Go back to step one. Problem solved.

I love Threes. I bought it right about the time that 2048 was becoming popular but the kind folks on Reddit were adamant that 2048 was a ripoff and I should support the Threes developer.

I have a screen shot somewhere with a pretty high score, but it is entirely luck on my part. I never really understood the theory so mostly just played right, left, down as it looked to be the best long term option, usually keeping the upper left corner or center top row for all the highest scoring tiles.

    What is your strategy?
