I really liked the Drambo tutorial by Thesoundtestroom
Seriously, it's an hour of Doug taking you from start to somewhat familiar territories with Drambo. I had so much fun rewatching the video that I made notes with timestamps.

Nice one. I thought it was excellent too.
Cool! You should message Doug so that he could copy your timestamps into his description (so they'll be added to the video).
Hope we can expect some #seonn drambo beats in the near future now
a table of contents: just what I needed…
thank you!
Thanks Seonn! Drambo has been sitting on my iPad for a long time now unused and this sounds exactly like the video that might get me over that initial set of hurdles.
One of Doug’s best videos for sure. It’s great that he broke it down into really simple explanations without going into too much depth.
@thesoundtestroom videos are some of the most helpful on YouTube, so follow Doug and like his videos.
Yeah, @AtticusL . Had a lot of fun writing the time stamps as I was watching the video.
@aleyas Haha, thanks. Yeah, Doug making the initial video makes it easy for me to do a few more Drambo videos. I was a bit hesitant because it’s initially overwhelming.
Have fun @RockBottom
@MisplacedDevelopment It took me almost a year before I looked into Drambo, and it was mainly because of @Gravitas that I was able to pick up the basics. The app is sparking ideas, but I’ve been experimenting as opposed to making full tools. I guess that’s part of the fun, haha.
Yeah, I’m a fan of thesoundtestroom. Fun fact...before I started the YouTube channel, I made a post asking questions on how to be a Youtuber. Doug and a few others gave excellent ideas, and when I started, he was my first subscriber.
I’m still learning a lot each day but it’s awesome.
Thanks everyone.
It was definitely @childofthecorndog Play Pits pack that got me back into Drambo
I didn’t realise that. Cool.

Yeah, it’s the experimenting that makes dRambo fun.
Yup, before I got “serious” about the iOS platform my searches kept on bringing up @thesoundtestroom.
For every app that I was curious about there was an example from thesoundtestroom.
+1
I didn't get through the whole video yet. Does Doug say "Cool beans"? He does a nice job showing how to build up custom
synths and programming MIDI tracks and that's how far I've gotten. Definitely going to make it to the end in the next day or 2.
When Doug covers an app he usually does an excellent job of demonstrating the music that can be made with a minimal amount of extra detail or pointless chatter. He's learn a thing or 2 about making app demos that are "cool beans".
Does the Pope s**t in the woods?
It does. Thanks mate 🙏
I loved it to. I welcome any Drambo content. I own it and never use it. I’d love to get as much enjoyment out of it as others on this forum!
I keep holding off on buying drambo since i have so much stuff already. I mainly use AUM to create sounds by assembling instruments and effects but i find its a bit hard to then create tracks, I'm wondering if Drambo would be the solution with it's sequencer... would love to know what people think?
I'm down to watch more of Doug delve in for sure. Drambo is one I still haven't taken the leap into learning, but this vid definitely made it seem a lot less overwhelming.
@Gravitas inspired me one time with an epic post about listening to one osc for a week or something. It was great.
Lolololol....
Yeah, I remember that post.
It was epic.
I'm still listening to one oscillator on occasion.
At the moment I'm focused on revolving cubes
using what I now know is vector synthesis.
Most probably there'll be another epic post for that one. 😏
I'm glad that it inspired you.
Thank you.
If you can find the one oscillator post please post the link! Sounds really interesting and I’ve failed to find it.
Edit. Got it, great post. https://forum.audiob.us/discussion/42624/drambo/p1
Glad you found it.
Yeah, it’s a bit “epic”.
I can’t read myself yet.
I’ll end up being embarrassed.
No,... I’m like that.
Enjoy the read and thank you.
I hope it inspires.
