Midi learn as midi receiver
I’m back to trying to remap mmc start/stop (from Alesis iodock) to CC and determined that ab3 will accept the remapping via streambyter if I choose midi learn as the receiver. Problem is that I am using the cc message to advance through presets, so my remapping goes away with the preset change. Any ideas how to maintain the remap through presets?

Hi @jeffry . In AB3, when you enable MIDI Learn, there's a Profiles button in the upper left. Tap it and you can select whether to save learned actions in the Current Preset, or in a Global Profile. I think that if you save these actions in a Global Profile, they will persist across presets.
Edit: Checked the AB3 manual, which says that the MIDI Learn Receiver actions are always stored with the Audiobus preset. Presumably that excludes any global preset. I suppose that's because they rely on a specific app being loaded and correctly configured; impossible to guarantee that over multiple presets. You may have to implement that MIDI learn in each preset.
