Remix Live. What is the ‘none’ folder that appears all about in latest update 6.3.2?
I’m interested in experimenting with the new update for the Live Set feature.
I don’t understand what the ‘none’ folder that appears is for, if I need it or how to delete it (it seems to duplicate what’s already there).

This is the placeholder for a category. Looks like you created a new project called VVOICE O and imported 12 samples into it. But since you haven't assigned a category to these samples yet, it says 'none'.
Tap on the three dots next to the search bar, then on 'edit' and you can make all the necessary settings to tag your samples to quickly find them again and sort them by tags.
Ah right thanks. I’ve had a go with your advice but it does seem all a bit counter intuitive. I’m not getting comfortable with it. I’ll stick at it for a while though.
How are you finding the new Live update?
I agree it's not particularly intuitive but keep in mind that Remixlive offers so many more features than Ampify's Launchpad. Therefore, the app can hardly remain similarly clear and as a result, unfortunately, the ease of access suffers a little. In fact, I think it is best to dedicate a while regularly to the slightly different workflow and then it becomes expectedly easier.
I find the Live update a very useful and practical step forward. In general, if you honestly compare Remixlive with LP, you have to realize that Ampify rests too much on its laurels for my liking. RLive has so much more to offer. Sequencer, drum and song mode, the possibility of live recording into a pad, the simple but effective internal sample processing, keyboard with scale mode, drum grid... You can combine and use all these modes in parallel without restrictions, which makes it completely superior to LP.

Not to mention the multiple mode that removes the limitation of the pad to columns and allows all pads to play simultaneously. You can hardly wish for more flexibility. In comparison, the LP functionality looks pretty poor.
For all Launchpad Mini/X/Pro hardware owners, LP of course traditionally has the advantage of seamless integration. But I hope and suspect that Mixvibes will sooner or later follow suit in this respect. At least the ‘nag’ box request for this after launching the app when it detects a connected Launchpad suggests that.
Thank you very much for your detailed reply. I agree with you - clearly Remix Live has much more functionality than Launchpad and it should be a winner in these terms alone. I have though in the past had workflow issues with Remix Live which has given me a negative vibe ... and now the new update seems to add to it - I believe that it could be more popular than it already is. I will continue for some time with your advice to see if I can get it going.
What it doesn’t have though is of course the connection to Blocs Wave which is not inconsiderable, and I believe will win the day for many people.
What we all want of course is an Audio Unit audio clip launcher on iOS, but as this looks unlikely in the near future I will continue to see what I can do in the meantime.
Cheers
The nag box has been there for a while. I emailed them. They said they're gonna evenutally support it and midi learn as well, but I don't have any faith in that as its been forever since I have emailed them.
