Work has been doubling down on me this week, so I’ve been struggling with producing anything over the weekend. Burning the candle at both ends if you will, catches up to you eventually.

Here’s one of the pieces I’ve been working on. 16 tracks in Drambo standalone, with FAC Drumkit loaded in the main track, and each drum voice wired to each of the 16 Drambo tracks. (Though I’m only using 3 or 4 drum sounds here) driven by a couple patterns in Atom 2.

Another notable feature of this piece is the Ravenscroft piano part. This was crafted in an instance of Atom 2 at .1x tempo.

A Synthmaster 2 part for a pluck sound, with a “G-Mod” attached to its volume knob, to bring it in and out.

Also featured are two GeoShred tracks, one, the GeoSWAM Cello, and of course tue GeoSWAM Tenor Sax on the second.

Bass line is Drambo’s native ‘JonBass’ with a few slight modifications and effects.

Please let me know what you guys think, and if I should do the VS - Visual Synthesizer treatment, or just let the music speak for itself?

    Thank you! Still a WIP; I haven’t yet decided if I’m going to add guitar parts, or any visuals.

    I can’t wait to get a new iPad. Trying to add visuals to this piece brought my 2018 IPP (64GB) to its knees… even after dumping this whole thing to audio.

    One File Player with this piece in AUM and another channel with a couple “dummy instances” of Atom2 with fake midi notes to drive VS in standalone with was just too much for it to handle.

    Might have something to do with the 64GB being slam full and nowhere for anything to write. I’ve got it set to that “dynamic storage” thing where iPadOS decides to remove my least used apps.

    Anyway, I will be getting the 12.9” (I think the 1TB) Pro really soon! (I hope!)

    Nothing sucks worse than being neck deep in a piece of music, when everything turns into a huge crackle fest, and the project you’re so proud of comes to a grinding halt.

    So…. I had @iOSTRAKON send me a project that he was working on and it was causing his iPad to choke…. I have the new M1…. He cried when I told him what I was running dsp wise. So I think that with all the hard work you have been doing , it only makes sense to get a new one!!!! My god man you deserve it!! 😂

    Another great track @Edward_Alexander … I think the Geo Tenor Sax is probably the best of the Geo instruments… well used here… the new bigger IPad has made a big difference to me so hope it works out well for you as well…

    Thank you Tony! You know I love that Sax! I like the Cello too. Enough that I actually forgot all about having the other SWAM Cello standalone app.

    So I’ve had this tune stuck in my head all day today at work. I think it’s pretty dang good if I do say so myself! I know it’s not the LoFi stuff everyone’s into these days, but quite the opposite. Can I get a sound check?

    I think I was channeling my inner kid from the 80’s again. Or was this sound the 90’s? It’s definitely “pop”.. almost like a Madonna song. Anyone?
