Drambient 001 (Ambient produced in...Drambo!)
So here's my first serious piece of Ambient in Drambo. The plucked synth is driven by Rozeta Particles. I love Rozeta, lol.
Polished in Cubasis 3 with MagicDeathEyeStereo and Reelbus. Normalised to -3dB in TwistedWave.

Anyways, I'm also thinking I will probably return to Gadget to produce my Ambient and Minimal Techno stuff for now. I love Drambo, it's really mindblowing. The sound design options are endless, but the one setback for me at the moment is the lack of true automation.
P-Locks with slew limiting are fine in a pinch, but it seems the P-Locks reset upon the next note in the sequencer. Gadget has really great draw-in automation. If Drambo had something similar (whether draw-in, or point-to-point automation as found in Cubasis 3), then I'd be back to Drambo in no time.
Another thing that inspired me to return to Gadget for the time being is this interview with my current idol.
Richie talks about producing his favourite tracks in a room with the same dimensions as that studio. Gadget for me is like Richie's room for Richie - it's all about that familiar and favourite headspace if that makes any sense. I know that sounds a bit "out there", but to me it makes sense. 🤷♂️

I just wanted to add one other thought. 
I think I realise the name of the beat-based genre I've been producing for the past month. It isn't Minimal Techno per se. It's more akin to Minimal Electro if that makes any sense. 
And that's what my next track is shaping up to be is another Minimal Electro piece.
