Audiobus & Bluetooth

I absolutely refuse to ever again use Bluetooth for anything, period. It is a huge security risk that few seem to be aware of. On my iPad, I have encountered two devices that are not mine nor owned by anyone I know, both attempting to pair with my iPad. Using a Bluetooth keyboard is especially dangerous, as it allows anyone using the right "Bluesnarfing" software to intercept every keystroke you make, thus gaining access to all your passwords, credit card numbers, etc. if there were a version of Audiobus that has the option to not use Bluetooth, I could use Audiobus, but since Audiobus 3, there doesn't seem to be any such possibility. I tried to install Audiobus 2 as an alternative to 3, but it won't allow the app to be used if you elect not to use Bluetooth.

I don't understand. You can turn Bluetooth off on your iPad and still use Audiobus 3.

  • And you can disable BT for Audiobus in Settings–>Audiobus. I've done this and Audiobus works for my wired USB gear.
