Magellan & Galileo Organ (iPad) Sale: $14.99 -> $4.99 (66% off)
One of my favorites, I suspect a lot of people have it, but if not, now is the best price you're likely to see!

I wanted it for the longest time but had Magellan Jr. for iPhone, which is outstanding, so I waited on this version. It claims the IAP presets are also 66% off, but I didn't know there was a preset store (I have like 18 banks with default and free ones I found anyway).

Fantastic price for one of the best iPad Synths.
Yeah, there is a "Store" button at the top that gives you a list of 8 or so bundles to buy. Never bothered with any of them though.
Worth those dollars just for its intelligent patch randomiser 'SPAWN'.
Plus you get a crazy amount of synth, depth and midi too.
Recommended!
Thanks for the heads up @StormJH1, It seems Galileo is on sale as well. Palm sounds has a birthday and we get the gifts, go figure.

Thanks, yeah there are synths out there I wish I had more presets for but this isn't one of them. Tons of options!

Oh you are right! I fixed the thread title and added a link. Swore I checked that price an hour ago, perhaps it just updated.
Does anyone have Galileo? I have various Soundfonts of organs, so I had taken it off my wish list. At the 1/2 off sale, it's more enticing. Thought it was an older app, but they actually just debuted it last year.
Galileo is THE organ app. Get it.
No soundfont comes close to the sound and flexibility Galileo offers.
Now a Galileo Jr would be really nice.
Just grabbed Gallileo finally. Thanks for sharing
Gallileo also has some great effects, and can be used as an FX unit in the Audiobus effects slot.
It has a good sounding leslie emulation, and really fantastic wah/autowah with more options than you can shake a stick at.
The Explorer 1,2,3 banks in their store was a regrettable purchase for me. A lot of wonky sounding patches and trancy arps that aren't very useful, but YMMV. The free banks available from PaulB and Mandrakonian are far better.
Thanks to those who posted about Galileo - I did grab that also and loaded it only very briefly, but was not disappointed. Actually was stunned how many different presets they had for an organ app! But Yonac's apps are outstanding in terms of interface and flexibility, so that's no surprise to me.
Galileo is the only app I consistently just sit down and play without trying to make tracks. Sounds so good.
@richardyot is spot on about the FX slot, lots of experimental fun with the Leslie/WAH and your other apps.
Okay, purchase remorse gradually fading . Seriously, it's a fair price for a niche app from a trusted developer, but my synth/app binge has been pretty epic lately. Time to start using these tools instead of just looking for the next one

I don't know, but it can probably make one. So many options/ knobs/ settings. I agree with others, its so fun to just play.
Yeah, I'm no organ expert by any means, but even with messing around on the presets, I was pretending I was in a hockey rink, then I was in church... Great sounds in that thing!
How much are the IAP in magellan normally?
Thanks

I think all of them except 'Atlantic' are 3rd party patches. http://www.newwavepresets.com sells some (looks like they're $2 off) and www.sunsineaudio.com sells the others ($1 to $2 off).
Cool thanks.
Im really not always this cheap! Haha
Edit: are any of them worth a damn?
Edit: i understand its all in the eye of the beholder. And speaking of being cheap, if u buy the sunsine bundle pack compared to buying all three individually u are spending two more pennies. Yea i can be real cheap at times. Who wants to go with me to get free samples at costco? Haha
Edit: after listening to most of them ill probably just get the chiptune one. Seems like video game sounds is lacking from my arsenal.
Thanks for putting up with me...if any of u ever come to vegas hit me up so we can meet up for beer and beats!
... and today they put Magellan Jr on sale too. $1.99
@nic_b_nice see my comment above about Explorer 1,2,3 packs. I can find no samples on the Atlantic pack, but I guess for .99 you can't really complain if it turns out to be garbage. There are samples of the preset packs at http://www.newwavepresets.com/ and I really liked some of the patches that I heard in mega pack 1. Though once I buy a couple more of those packs though, I could practically buy a whole new new synth app with the same money. So idk.
I got magellan jr. yesterday and noticed the filters are super steppy. I'm surprised nobody else has mentioned that anywhere. hopefully there will be an oversampling option in the future because this seems like a decent synth otherwise.
Anyone else having trouble with Galileo glitching out on different patches while using midi input? I get an occasional click, the synth stops working briefly, and then it reverts back to the default patch. I was using the heavy metalzone patch. Not sure if it glitches with others.
@coloobar thanks. I did see ur post about the explorer packs. Sorry i missed it the first time. I got the atlantic, chiptune and sunsine pack1. Liking chiptune presets. Atlantic and sunsine arent bad but good video game presets is what ive been lacking. Guess im lazy to try and make them myself.
