Lotsa diverse reviews... Is this app worth it to anybody here?
Um no

I haven't seen a really thorough review of this by the regular iOS reviewers, just that on paper this is well specced for a very low price, but then no one seems to use it so something must be up?
...
I deleted it ages ago. I don't even recall what the issue was, but I do recall that I wasn't impressed.
If you already have BeatPad do you need pay again for the BeatPad plugin sounds?
I don't think so.

You do. I checked that last time it was free and I downloaded it. There are a course demo ones to try then it is an IAP.
The BeatPad plugin is now free if you have Studio 2 and BeatPad. Both apps have been recently updated.
Also, BeatPad is free again at the moment. It's been free all day, so it's probably going to end in an hour or so.

That just looks cheesy, I only have 900mb of storage left on my iPad, so I'm picky about what I download.
Yeah, they're definitely at the shallow end of the music app pool. Some people seemed interested, so I'm just passing the information along. And they do take up a lot of space.
