Effectrix, Samplr, AUFX or...

Guys, hope you can help me in my search....I need to manipulate the sound coming from my handpan. For now to register the sound samples, I am using the simple built in mic in the iPad; however, soon I ll get a proper mic.
About putting effects to my samples, I have looked at apps like Effectrix, Samplr, AUFX Dub and Space.....they seem powerful, although I am not sure which one can be more suitable for a handpan sound, of course which one is easy to use, but with many options.
Thanks in advance.

All of these apps are very good. I would go with Samplr for this application, it's so great when it comes to layering and really makes it easy to get lost in the music. Great control and a decent reverb in Samplr also.

  • Is it for live or studio work? All three effects you've mentioned are quite different from each other so what type sounds are you after?

This is going to be studio work.
Basically change the sound of the handpan samples....a sort of Jam Synth I use for bass and guitar.

As an option, SampleWiz, different in many ways to Samplr. Both are stellar apps.

  • If you want to trigger different sounds check out Impaktor
