RIP Joey Jordison and Dusty Hill. What a terrible day for music.

  • As a ZZ-Top fan since early childhood it makes me a bit sad...

Oh well, I'll listen thru their entire catalogue and see if I can spot any tracks with the SidStation as ZZ-Top were among the first to get one :sunglasses:

  • Yeah, hearing about Dusty this morning hit me hard...

  • I'll start my Spotify ZZ-Tribute today by listening to the first 'album' I got on tape when I was 11 years old, Eliminator...
...it's still awesome after all these years a classic that stands the test of time :sunglasses:
(The tape and copies are since long time gone, played them to their deaths. They simply broke...).

  • It’s deguello for me. Great record. Great bassist. Great loss.

I still have all of my ZZ Top on vinyl.

I still get goosebumps when Frank and Dusty come in at :35 😢 RIP Dusty!

  • As a teenager in the eighties, "Sharp Dressed Man", "Legs", and "Gimme All Your Lovin'" were part of the soundtrack of my life. Growing up in Texas there was a special reverence for ZZ TOP. I never got to see them live. I did camp out for tickets with friends and they sold out Reunion Arena (which seated 19,000) four nights in a row. Not bad for a little band from Texas. A very sad loss.
