-=AutumnšŸ‚=- (Composing with OB-Xd in AUM at 20BPM)

The new update to the amazing OB-Xd synth and the related discussion thread here on the forums inspired this piece.

I hope you guys like it! This will be the 2nd piece published with the new 12.9 M1 iPad Pro 1TB.

Copied and pasted from my YouTube channel:

A brand new, 100% all original instrumental piece composed on August 1st, 2021 in AUM on my >new 12.9ā€ M1 iPad Pro 1TB. šŸ˜Ž

Featuring visuals from Imaginandoā€™s Amazing VS - Visual Synthesizer! šŸ“½

CapCut video editor for additional effects and video processing and editing. šŸŽ¬

Two OB-Xd tracks (Oberheim OB-X based synthesizer by Jorge Reales) one for the bass line, and >the other for the strumming chord sound. šŸŽ¹

Lumbeatā€™s Soft Drummer (by Luis Martinez) for the drum track. šŸ„

And of course GeoShredā€™s GeoSWAM Tenor Saxophone šŸŽ·ā¤ļø

Effects used:

Lunar Lander - BBD Analog delay, Plate reverb and Saturator (this is probably my favorite new >AUv3 effect plug-in of 2021!) - by Pulsar Novation

SoundSAW - by Igor Vasiliev - A complex sound/audio processing, mangling, destruction effect.

Eventideā€™s BlackHole reverb - Simply the BEST reverb money can buy!

Thanks for watching and having a listen! I also would like to thank all of my good friends on the >Audiobus forums as they never fail to inspire and encourage my musical endeavors, but most of >all, I want to thank all of my 147 subscribers! You all clicked on that little subscribe button for a >reasonā€¦ I intend not to disappoint! Thank you all so much! šŸ™

    Thanks Mike!

Tinkering around with AUM this morning while practicing some guitar licks.

Decided to add a couple improv guitar tracks, back to back, recorded the first one with my Ibanez Destroyer, then loaded it up in a file player and played along with it for a second guitar track using my Les Paul Custom.

Two tracks back to back, 100% improvised on the spot, first take and uploaded to YouTube. No rear view mirrors here!

(Plus @LinearLineman is always suggesting a guitar track ;) )

  • Ed, this is great. Sounds like somebody commissioned the Gorillaz to do a spaghetti Western soundtrack.

Hey, thanks man! Means a lot!

  • I really loved it. Moody and fun. Felt like a bit of an adventure or mystery. Great guitars as well!

Thank you so much @animalelder !

Itā€™s definitely an adventure, and Iā€™m having a ton of fun making these!

  • Great guitar playing, sounds like you really enjoyed yourself on this one.

  • Real guitar is much better than fake sax.

    Thank you!

Iā€™m on vacation this week, so Iā€™ve had a little extra free time to play around with some music stuff.
