ORKEZTRA
This is undoubtedly the best symphonic style track I have made. It was inspired by the Sunrizer “Count Padula” preset by Aural Imbalance (which enters at 00:55). The track begins with what might be the best orchestral preset I’ve found: PureSynthPlatinum’s “Big Orchestra”. Additional tracks are BeatHawk Classical percussion and Total Bass.
Aural Imbalance’s preset is quite amazing. You can even hear choral qualities in it (2:56). It has a bit of fuzz buzz to it which is why I mixed in the PSP Big Orchestra. Together it is, IMO, a terrific symphonic sound and varied orchestral sound.
This track reminds me of Samuel Barber’s famous “Adagio”. Not as masterful or memorable, of course, but up there, I think. And I would remind Samuel that it is a one take improvisation without a single midi edit. So it took under five minutes to “compose’ the whole shebang. Could Mr. Barber do that (ummm, probably if he had an iPad).
So, if you love orchestral music, please give this a listen with headphones, if possible.

Epic. I’m looking forward to the William Orbit remix :-)
Beautiful, Mike. It describes some complex internal states of being where time seems to stop.
Feed that through Bram Bos’ Perforator and you’d be on the way to the William Orbit remix 😁
Wonderful stuff, Mike! That Count Padula patch is amazing and really shows off the awesome tonality of Sunrizer. @giku_beepstreet Sunrizer is a masterpiece on iOS.
@LinearLineman I'm smiling. Kudos!
Thanks, @klownshed, I think I prefer this remix...
Thanks for the praise @McD. Maybe you’ll do the Perforator remix for me. You’re the one to do it, for sure.
Thanks for the tools @giku_beepstreet and @Spidericemidas. So much more fun than 88 black and white keys.🥳🥳🥳
Epic track. PureSynthPlatinum’s interface raises my blood pressure but this track inspired me to redownload it
I could definitely set a Vietnamese village on fire to that.
Really amazing piece of music. I loved it.
I can understand that. Even accessing the presets is unaesthetic, but they sound great. Especially the choirs, acoustic basses and string ensembles
.
Ouch, that’s funny but it hurts to laugh. Adagio has a tremendous melody thru which my piece lacks, tho. Mine is more hopeful, I think.
Thanks @jwmmakerofmusic, I feel a little less insignificant now 😉😎🙏
