  • I know , i am waiting on this one with everyone else.

  • That makes at least three of us. I'm not very drum machine friendly but I bought this right off when I saw the AB promise. Still waiting.

  • Me four.

  • six with me too

Anyone ever contacted the developer or seen him post here or elsewhere? Someone in the previous thread on this had it on good information that AB compatibility was coming.

I don't want to give the impression that I'm kicking and whining about $4 on an app I have yet to ever use in any type of musical fashion, but it is kind of a bummer since functionality of the app is the real deal. Heck, I bought Caustic for $10 months before AudioBus was added, but the difference there was that you could still do a heck of a lot with Caustic before that update!

(I was #4 on the petition above :) 10 would be next)

  • I think the sooner it gets on the bus the better for the developer in this case. Once this is audiobus compatible people will actually be able to use this for recording drums finally.

  • I was farting around in the app store and it looks like this developer launched a new app named Afro Latin Drum Machine today, May 21. This app doesn't claim to support AB either. Seems odd to me that any music app is created without Audiobus support nowadays. I'd give it a whirl. $4 is no big thing but that's what I said about Rock Drum Machine and I still can't use that app so I'll wait.

It's a DrumJam killer! (Kidding, I think DrumJam is safe in that genre). Interesting find though. Kind of a bummer for us that the developer was working on another paid app before adding an essential feature to his current one. But hey, if you pay for an app expecting a feature that isn't there to be added later for free (as I did), this is the risk.

Meanwhile, Rock Drum Machine sits there with an antiquated-looking interface and a pedestrian 4-star rating that really betray how good of an app it could be.

  • I also purchased the app a few months back since the app info promises - "Audiobus compatibility soon!". So let's just hope the dude is honest with it, I guess

Oh wow, I didn't recall that it said AB was coming in the app description . I thought it was just a secondhand rumor from the dev. Yikes, last update October 2013, he really does need to get on that if it says that on the same page you buy the app from.
