What’s the first thing you intend to be trying in Loopy Pro? (after you learn how to use it)
I’m going to have four lanes with a drum machine and two different synths running sequences - (one a bass synth) - and Koala playing vocal samples through Looperator set to random in the fourth. Each lane will have a Turnado. All lanes will have a Loopy Pro. I’m going to vary up the sequences and jam it out with Turnado in each lane whilst I capture all the best happy accidents in each with the look back recording in Loopy Pro- and blend them nicely together to sound quite groovy..... hopefully 😀

I’ve just barely mastered Loopy HD. I can hardly comprehend the possibilities with Loopy Pro. Tornado is a great idea, but also cant wait to try out the built in effects.

I’m going to make a beat out of my farts.
In the key of B-flatulent
!!!
C how flat it is?
Setup a system for switching out sets of instrumentation for live performance, and mixing a second deck created live out of loops sampled from the live instrumentation or from prerecorded stems. I hope this is achievable with a nice workflow.
I didn’t know it had built in effects 🤔
I suppose trying to figure out how to accomplish some Gauss like sounds would be my first experiments. Does anyone know if loopy supports loop transpose? Guessing it does.
I shall use it to capture my Beatcutter cuttings since at present moment I use 6 Ensos to capture the details which can be tempermental
Sampling in some loops from OP-Z, then guitar loops.
I have Loopy but I could never work out how to do anything with it other than use the samples that came with it.
The only thing that kept me from using Loopy HD is that it's locked in 16/44.1. Had it been 24/48 I'd have been using it heavily for a while. Excited about all the updates. Looking forward to having a Pro level looper at my fingertips without having to grab another piece of gear!
Stepping beyond eight bars into full pieces…
Good one ☝️
With current loopers like Enso, Gauss or even Drambo it’s hard to switch parts and do an actual song with changes. I use Zenbeats clip mode to improvise and make songs out of loops, curious to see how Loopy Pro will compare and which will be more fun and immediate.
One great point about Loopy Pro is that it’ll be an extremely capable and powerful looper in AUM when used as auv3. Audio was the missing piece in AUM. Using something like LK, (or Helium or atom2) for midi and part chaining plus Loopy you’ve got it all in AUM.
Haha
What built in effects does it have? Is there a slicer?
I’m thinking just basic effects. Here’s an old screenshot from early alpha, I’m guessing. Michael posted it in March 2020

You can see some AU effects listed, and some generic (assuming built-in) effects like filters, delay, reverb.
Ooh… and I just noticed a “pitch” effect.
