First Experiments With a Looper Pedal Into iPhone
Just got my first looper pedal. So, here's my first attempt at a one-take infinite loop/overdub of The Beatles, 'Here, There and Everywhere' - I played for a really long time and it got messy!
My chain: Strat -> Lekato Looper Station -> iD4 -> iPhone -> Cubasis 3 -> Nembrini Cali Reverb -> Nembrini Delay 3000 -> Toneboosters Reverb -> Toneboosters Barricade.
This looper pedal is a lot of fun so far. I'll be experimenting more.
Anyone else tried doing this?

Experiment with live looping & overdub of a section of Bach’s Aria from the Goldberg Variations. First loop sets up a 16 bar accompaniment, then followed by an overdub of the melody in one take - so, please excuse the mistakes!
This could work as a live performance, although Bach pieces tend to be quite long - the whole Aria is 32 bars, so a total of 64 bars to set up the accompaniment and add the top line.
Interesting or too boring?
Edit: moved the full version to a new thread.
Two lovely tracks… how can Bach be boring? If these are your first attempts you might be pretty good with a bit of practice😊
Thanks @GeoTony. You're absolutely right - Bach is not boring. What was I thinking!?! I'll learn (and practise) the whole Aria.
Lovely guitaristry. Really liked the looped Bach. Would love to see the result of a practicing fire lit under you. 😱😳🙏
Very nice!
I’ve never seen this Lekato brand before, but it looks like a lot of features in a very affordable price range compared to an equivalent (micro pedal size) Ditto for example. How’s the build quality?
I’ve got my heart set on the new BOSS RC-505 MK2. I don’t know which bank I’m gonna rob just yet, but…. Jk
Thanks @LinearLineman - I'm going to listen to Glen Gould to get in the mood.
Thanks @Edward_Alexander. This in-depth (and very slow) video was the one that sold me on the Lekato. The pedal is all metal and a little heavy. I was going to get a Ditto, but for the price, similar spec (48K/24bit) and extra features, this seemed like a good deal. Happy so far. (That BOSS looks like it belongs in a spaceship, I'll stick with one button for now.)
