Dude! I totally loved that!
You did miss the opportunity to add the small layer of text down in the right hand corner at the end of the video with the artist/album/year/track info ala MTV style!
Is that a guitar I hear?
First of all, thank you. I can't believe I forgot about the old artist/album/year in the corner 🤣. That really takes me back. The guitar sound is AudioLayer. This whole thing came about from trying to arpeggiate Geoshred using Aphelian. I sent Geoshred's output to Scalebud. Set Scalebud to chords. Sent the chords to Aphelian and had Aphelian drive my AudioLayer guitar sound through THU Overloud. It didn't turn out the way I imagined, but it became the basis of the main riff in this.
Your video posts have definitely been an inspiration to try and add a visual element to my weird musical monstrosities so thank you for that as well.
Excellent track @MadeofWax , enjoyed that. Also didn’t outstay it’s welcome which is a skill in its own right. Nice images as well, very 80s.
Thank you. As someone who suffers from an Excessive Noodling Addiction knowing when it's "enough" is always a challenge for me. I appreciate you taking the time to watch and listen.
This totally takes me back to the 80s-early 90s MTV era, like you said "wondering what the heck I just watched"
Loved it mate
Thanks for watching. I feel like for all of it's flaws (and all of it's commercials) Youtube is as close as this generation will ever get to those wild early days of MTV. I really miss them.
