Anyone know of plans for Auria to work in the effects slot of Audiobus?

...all the fab filter goodness unleashed live on the rest of my apps would be lovely.

    A bit superfluous no? Why not just mix in Auria?!?

    Mr. Magoo asked this question over in the Auria forum too and got this reply from RIM:

    "Not really. This would be hard to implement, and would be hard to manage. Which channels would be involved? Which plugin slots, etc. The Audiobus effects slot is really designed for single standalone effects."

    Maybe FabFilter could just release Saturn as a standalone app...yum. Probably not going to happen, but hey...a guy can dream.

    @Dubhausdisco - I was thinking that I would consider using other DAWs in the O/P slot, but would still like the Auria effects.

    Seems like its a No from Rim then !

    @dubhausdisco - I guess I was thinking about the workflow as I use cubasis and bm2 at the moment, and Export to Auria to edit and mix.

    @boone51: Thanks to Audiobus, there's now a market for standalone filters and effects apps. I'm not interested in Auria, but I'd really like to have the convolution reverb from it in the Audiobus effects slot. Hopefully we'll start seeing high quality filters/FX apps for Audiobus in the near future.

    I see what you guys are saying, but a send effect would be tedious.
    Now if someone would create a quality channel strip in the ssl vein.....
