Thoughts on The New Yamaha PSR E373?
I'm looking for something for practicing my piano. I don't always want to plug my midi controller on my iPad with my soundcard with my headphone to play. Sometimes, I just want to play quickly. Maybe I have a weak mind, but I often get distracted (or un-focus) when I use my iPad to play music. (Oh, a new email, let's read it).
I almost bought a sound module for my midi controller, but they are not cheap. And I heard a lot of good things about the sounds module in the PSR E373.
Roland U-220 was 50$ 3-4 years ago. Right now, I cannot find one cheaper than 200$ (in Canada).
Anyone knows if the sounds are great in the Yamaha PSR E373? What about the keybed? The keybed on the E363 was really plasticky cheap. I wish the keybed is the same as the Yamaha KX61.
I cannot find any good sound module cheaper than 200$. At this price, I think I will go with the Yamaha.
Any thoughts?
Thanks for sharing.

I totally love my Yamaha PSR-E453. Works as a midi interface AND audio interface with the iPad. Lots of good rhythms to start a jam. Aux in. Stereo out connected to my studio monitors. Runs on batteries if you wanna go to the park. 700+ sounds. They sound decent to my ear, but I mostly use the ipad synths for the sound.
