Thx for the very kind words @echoopera. I really think I am grasping the “less is more” school of thought when it comes to arranging. I find myself stripping away more and more thru midi editing, fewer instruments and more air in between notes and chords when I improvise. It feels good.
@CapnWillie, good to hear from you my cap’n. Yes, I am doing more and more. I used to usually improvise a single stretch at a time and work it up. Now I do three improvs a sitting and can do a nine track album in about five days. When you got nuthin, bro, you got nuthin to lose 😉😎🙏
1.23 is such a sublime moment when you let the pad take over for a second or two and then that soft gentle piano tip-toes in. Marvellous and extremely chilled 👍
