Yup, that's only dRambo and the LP X.
To sort out the colours for the drum grid mapping
I used MidiControl Synth to edit the LP X.
Other than that...

Very nice! I was about doing something similar for APC40 and with Mozaic, I am really impressed you were able to do it solely with Drambo modules. Would you mind sharing the project?
Though this was done in dRambo,
it can be done with any sequencer that
can record and send midi notes.
What is important is seeing
what you want to write or animate.
I can’t and won’t at the moment
for obvious reasons.

This is cool! Is the potential there to do some Shawn Wasabi level programming with this Drambo/Launchpad combo?
Most probably.
I personally haven't done this before so I couldn't tell you precisely.
It sounds like there is a sequenced backing track of loops and
possibly the drum kit and playable samples are being changed using
program control messages or cc messages for the required sections.
All quite feasible.
The question is would you want to do it.

The fun part when putting this project together
was creating the letters in lights.
When the lights spelt 'dRambo' in time I was very happy.
In regards to sharing a project.
When it's done I will make available two dRambo projects.
This one and one that has the entire alphabet in it so that users can copy and paste.
