It is Not : Riffler, Hammerhead, Rock Drum Machine, Turnado, Slammer, Lyricist

Another new video creation. I finally picked up Hammerhead and Slammer and wanted to see what I could make with them. Video filters are Studio Artist 5 (a PC and Mac program) and TouchViz.

  • Very cool vid and track :)

  • That was great! I was completely drawn into it. I wish it was little longer.
If you don't mid my asking, how long does it take to produce something like that?
Seeing a video like this makes me want to give it a try.

Thank you so much! Once I find an interesting public domain video at the internet archive https://archive.org/details/feature_films
I edit it down to small clips which I then run through filters. Depending on how many frames there are in each clip and how complex the filter is, it can take a few hours or even overnight. I'll do a little more editing in HitFilm Express and add in the music. I've been working 60 hour weeks lately so I worked an hour or so on this project every night for about a week. I have a long standing love of video effects and filters so this is just another way to express my weirdness 😁. I do hope you'll give it a try. I look forward to seeing what you can do!

  • Great work! I was at the archive yesterday and found some very old instruction tapes for marriage. So fun. Anyway, what a great source that site is.

Thank you 🙏! So glad the archive exists. I should have credited the film here. “ The Screaming Skull”.

Thank you! You and many of the talented creators here inspire me with your music and videos. Posting my videos on YouTube is helping me to learn to finish projects rather than leaving dozens of half finished 8 bar jams in Untitled folders in AUM. As always, thanks for listening and your comments are always appreciated.👍

Sure thing! I’ve been guilty of the same thing for years, even back when I was doing stuff on the desktop before iOS production became a thing. So many stale Cakewalk Sonar or Reaper projects that never saw the light of day.

I’ve found sharing stuff with other musicians here can yield the best feedback or constructive criticism. I’ve had many where I’m not so satisfied with, and I’ll ask the forum. With all the amazing musicians feedback and advice here, I’m usually able to dial a piece in and make it so much better. I actually have one like this I’m working on right now. (The 5th gen iPad not enough thread)

Anyway, keep up the great work!

  • Do i hear a bit of Chemical Brothers? :)

Definitely an influence, as well as Fat Boy Slim, Aphex Twin, Nine Inch Nails, etc. Thanks for listening!
