Modal COBALT 8M - Extended VA Synth - Let’s Take a Tour
Taking a first look at the brilliant Modal Cobalt 8M.
Disclaimer, Modal did not send me this synth, I sold another synth to get this one.
This little synth is capable of so much it's hard to put into a few sentences here.
In the video, I cover the basic architecture of the synth, do a little bit of sound design and run through some of the presets.
In future videos, I will be making patches from scratch and showing you how you can use this with your iPad.
Actually, it's almost the perfect companion synth for your iDevice, apart from the excellent integration with things like AUM, it has a superb editor.
With the Modal App, you can easily program the synth, save patches, do updates, and tons of other cool stuff too.
