-=Salute=- (an ode to @LinearLineman)
Something a little different while I take a break from my drum mixing sessions. @LinearLineman suggested I try the Duduk instrument in the World Synth app, so I took it for a little spin tonight. Wouldn’t you know, he’s right! It’s awesome!
From my YouTube description:

very cool !
Beautiful!
Very nice, especially the Duduk part but you might be hearing from Pachelbels lawyers😊
lol I know, it’s one of those “classically inspired” parts. The “Cannon-esque” piano bass line just came out naturally. I changed the octave of some of those notes after the fact (and after I realized what I had done) to hopefully fly under the radar.
Thanks so much for the kind words, Ed. Though it’s more of a virtuous circle for me. I’m positive I would not have created any of this stuff without the support, resources and guidance of people like you, @wim, @rs2000, @Spidericemidas , @McD, @GeoTony, @CracklePot, @Daveypoo, @JanKun , @kuhl and many others who have helped me be so productive.
Besides, I think the best thing I may have done here is to encourage you to stop smoking! Hope that’s still in effect.
You put that Duduk to good use. The piano in WorldSynth is also very good for cutting thru a mix. Good source for Arabic strings, too.
I’ll listen to anything with duduk. Duduk and bansuri are my two favorite wind instruments.
Thanks! I had fun with VS here!
Thank you Phil! 🙏
Well, I hope my duduking at least met your standards 🙏
looking up “bansuri” - another instrument I had never heard of until recently
The free Noise app has a nice MPE bansuri. Also a duduk.
Still in effect!
Thanks again Mike!
Beautiful stuff @Edward_Alexander!
What a gorgeous piece of music and a very nice dedication to @LinearLineman ❤️ Really lovely work @Edward_Alexander 👍
Thank you so much @Daveypoo! Really means a lot coming from you!
Aww thanks man! Really nice of you to say! ❤️🙏
