Wednesday night -=Vintage=- (Electric Vintage, SoundSAW, World Synth’s Duduk and more!)

Another in my series of quick weeknight AUM jams, this is another one that came together in less than an hour.

Feeling inspired by this Electric Vintage EP and @LinearLineman’s recommended Duduk.

I’m really happy with the sound of this one! Which, I was really happy with the sound of yesterday’s jam too if anyone might have missed it… (it’s the Tuesday jam!)

  • I just love that Duduk sound... it sings.

  • One of your best.

Agreed! Very thankful that Mike turned me on to this instrument!

    Really, this short little piece?

I will say I have been getting rather proficient at whipping out these Bass lines.

Thanks for having a listen Mike!

Sometimes the best is short and sweet, Ed. It’s the direction that counts. The seeking of your original face. And getting out of the way.

Thanks for that. Now I wonder, should I expand on this particular piece?

It’s only 2 and a half minutes long.

Or should I just leave it alone and move on?

  • Yes, also think one of your best… also you have a way with bass lines that really appeals… plus you know what they say… it’s not the length that matters😊

  • If you’re liking the hit and run approach, as I do, move on. Think of it like Japanese calligraphy. Meditation and a burst of energy. There’s no going back once the ink is on the paper.

  • Nice work !

I like that philosophy Mike, thanks!
