What are you playing on? Shlepped from CA?
I have my Arturia MiniLab mark I, a couple of Keith McMillen K-Boards, my Keith McMillen BopPad, a Korg NanoPAD2 and a Korg NanoKONTROL2. For this I was using the MiniLab mostly, with the K-Board for the lower register on the Rhodes.
Yes - all schlepped from CA. I hope you dug it - this one was sloppy but I think it turned out alright in the end.
Sloppy is great when you know how to recover! Especially in a Funkadelic jam like this! This is amazing Dave, I love the little skippy shuffle slip thing you did at like 4:04-5ish. great playing 👍
Great stuff, my only disappointment was that Stevie Wonder never started his harmonica solo…
@GeoTony Man, is there a Stevie Wonder chromatic harmonica app? I gotta get me that - will it play for me, too?
😆
Thank you, I'm really glad you dug it.
This is really good! I love old that school funk! Reminds me of Herbie Hancock. I like how you held on a few chords to add tension and release. I don't hear that technique very often, and I will probably steal that from you in the future! I could listen to this for hours. Twist up a fat one daddy-o, and pass it from the left hand side.
Very nice vibes 👍
Thanks. @Paulieworld & @ipadbeatmaking - glad you dug it.
