Rocktober Jam #1 (AUM Jam with 2X Rymdigare, Poppadocrock Flowtones preset and more!)

This is one of those pieces that fell together quickly while experimenting with 2 different instances of the new Rymdigare audio effect plugin. Also used a preset (“Hand me down synth”) by our very own @Poppadocrock in the Flowtones synth. Electric Vintage, Lumbeat’s Soft Drummer, (my fav!) and a couple bass tracks with a PureSynth Platinum. Rhino amp sim beta for some girth!

    Headphones Recommended as usual btw.

    @LinearLineman I know you were semi kidding in @Michael ‘s “First look at Loopy Pro” thread, but may I present to you this piece built on a simple 4 bar loop.

    I’m sure @McD could dance with his cat to this one, being a standard 4/4 jam.

  • @Poppadocrock, your “Hand Me Down Synth” preset part starts at 1:55. I love the “breathy” sound it has! Great job on this!

  • Hi Ed, yep, I detected a loop therein. You might transpose up a half step a third of the way and then return to the tonic at 2/3. Or some other interval, of course.

    Hmm, that could be interesting. Either that or a whole step key change for the last 1/3rd?

    Great start @Edward_Alexander !! I really dig the mellow vibe of this one. The guitar really cut through nicely. Can’t wait to hear more.

    Thanks. I’ll do some experimenting with a real guitar and this new effect app later. These quick couch Jams are a great way to try out some new effects.

    @Edward_Alexander

    Digging it, I feel like there are many different styles, all somehow working well together in this track, nice. Cheers for the patch shout out. I like coming up with patch names. Lol. Keep rocking man.

    Thanks man. That’s a good way to describe it.

  • @Poppadocrock thank you!

    I was thinking this track needed something to be added to it at first. After listening to it as is’for a couple days though, I’ve decided that it’s pretty darn good just the way it is!
