It’s not quite the end of the world yet. But I can say for definite- it’s a day closer than it was yesterday.
It will be if we keep storing all the random shit (including cat videos) on servers that require a lot of energy to run and produce a lot of heat. This, will get worse with increasing resolution of uploaded stuff unless storage technology improves significantly. I expect it will hit that physics barrier that batteries have hit already.
Perhaps not the end of the world per se, more like our little utopian existence.
If Facebook would die for good, that would be not end of the world but actually beginning of new better world
Hehe, I’m sure 911 just got an uptick in calls.
Agree. Same here.

Hopefully this will encourage more bands/artists to start up an actual web page instead of just making a page on Facebook and directing fans to go there.
I never really understood the “I just have a Facebook page” - websites aren’t that hard especially a static page. You can host them on yesterday’s computer unless your a bonafide superstar, and customize them to your hearts content.
Even a free WIX or Wordpress page is better FFS
Yup. If you're serious about making music for a living, don't be lazy and just put all your stuff only on Facebook.
I need to figure something out as my GeoCities site is no more.....
I almost spilled my coffee! Next time warn me first, @AlmostAnonymous!
