    Where Tesla got it wrong:

I would say these are more on target where Elon’s Tesla got it wrong. Putting out electric battery fires use many multiple amounts of water and time to extinguish. The hidden disaster not spoken of much.

A shame more people know the Tesla brand than the inventor who created alternating current.

@Simon Looks more like a bad drivers showcase 😉

Now that's more interesting indeed. And a proof that testing and fixing software issues can be a damn hard job.
It's also a great proof of what can happen if humans blindly trust decisions done by artificial intelligence.

If Tesla said that the autopilot did a great job 99.99% of the time, how many people would not use it?

Even Elon recently warned about the subject in general.

  • I like that Musk pushed the luxury electric market as far as he could push it, as fast as he could push it. Lucid electric cars are about to go on sale and so are a host of other luxury car companies, so Tesla may not have much more time in the catbird’s seat.

But then again, Musk said years ago that is was his plan to step down as CEO after Tesla brought out their “inexpensive” mass market electric so he could then focus on SpaceX for the rest of his life. He hasn’t thrown in the towel yet, but I can’t imagine he’s going to want to remain distracted with Tesla for many more years.

  • We’ll get there eventually.

Would you be happy with your car brakes working only 99.99% when you apply them?

    Haha, certainly not!
    I'd want 99.999999% at least 😁
