Why didn't I discover this earlier?! Just bought it and sounds so good! Also I made a little experiment and modulated Dragonfly using TATAT.. results are very nice!

This is nice!. I don’t own TATAT. Would you mind explaining the setup, why there’s 2 instances of TATAT?.

Just guessing, but tatat can only generate 4 different note, which might be single notes or chords with a max of 4 notes (well, you can send midi in live to adjust them, you can drag them vertically but that's hit or miss as hell, or you can change the values by typing them in) so it often makes sense to use more than 1

  • That's not two instances, the screenshot is from Loopy Pro and the one below on the left is a MIDI destination while Scaler2 is the source, the one top right is the Tatat MIDI source and BLEASS Dragonfly is the destination.

So in this case I'm feeding notes to TATAT from Scaler2 and then sending them to Dragonfly. This is a very specific case but in general I often use this Scaler -> TATAT (in thru mode) -> some instrument setup. It's a very fast and easy way to get a chord progression with random variations going.
