Can someone with Ipad mini 5 and synthscaper verify something?
Hey,
I had an Ipad mini 2 and noticed there is a pause between scene changes so I got an ipad mini 4. Unfortunately there is still about a 200ms loading time to switch scenes.
Are synthscaper scene changes instant with the Ipad mini 5?
This is for patch switching a smooth change for a song performance.

I don't have a Mini 5, but on my Pro 10.5", there's a pause when changing scenes. It has to load all new samples/oscillators, parameters, etc. so I doubt if it'll be instant on any device.
Have you tried using multiple instances of SynthScaper LE AUv3 plugin in an AU host like Audiobus or AUM, and switch tracks using MIDI or manually?
Ok thanks for checking, I don't have the LE version since I have made so many patches for the full version. I just messaged the maker of the app and he said he was going to work on it to improve it.
Do you understand the ways that the LE version is limited? It's limited in part of its ability to create patches. It's not limited in the ability to play predefined patches, so all patches created on full Synthscaper version can be loaded and played on the LE version.

Since the LE version is much lighter weight, it shouldn't be a problem to load two or three instances, load each one with a different patch (created in full version) and switch immediately between them. You could even play different patches at the same time, if you wanted.
