Turnado midi mapping in Cubasis issues?

I don’t know specifically about Cubasis 3, but in AUM you have to load the version that says Turnado Midi. The other doesn’t accept midi.
I dunno about Cubasis 3, but Cubasis 2 doesn’t appear to route midi CCs to FX Plugins.

I am corresponding with Sugar Bytes. They're looking into it, but haven't been able to reproduce it.
It seems to be a different problem, but maybe good to notify them?
DRC is an instrument not an FX.
In Cubasis 2 it’s possible to map midi notes but not CCs in Turnado.
I’m not sure that’s gonna work. From what I can see the CCs aren’t even making it to the FX. That makes it not a routing, not a mapping problem.
I could be leading you on a wild goose chase since I’m trying on Cubasis 2. But, it seems as though midi is routed to AU FX if it comes through the track instrument itself.
For instance, if I draw in some CC 20 automation, then hit play, then midi learn in Turnado, it picks up the mapping.
But if I try to send CC 20 from a controller, it will not make it.
However, if I load Drambo as an instrument, configured so that it passes midi through, and Drambo is focused (not Turnado), the controller data is passed on to Turnado. As soon as I change focus to Turnado the CCs no longer pass.
That leaves a pretty unusable set of circumstances if you ask me. But I thought I’d pass it along anyway.
Btw, the issue has no relation to iOS 15 as mentioned in the track title. I’m on 14.8.
Cubasis 3 doesn't seem to route CC to AUv3 music effects so it doesn't matter if the effect supports it.
Cubasis 3 as far as I know simply doesn't route CC to AUv3 music effects and I guess it's the bare minimum note on/offs.
(This since Vocoders and such work with midi note-input)
Don't know what's cooking for the next update but we can always keep our fingers crossed...
AUParameter automation should work though...
(Ie. tap W and tweak the on-screen knobs while the track is playing to record the automation).
That would be this problem reported by @janpieter .
Ok, Looperator is the only Sugarbytes app I have left on my iPad...
...it's UI 'works with my eyes' as everything is not too tiny
