+1 I know, right? I’m getting staggering cinematic textures out of this, much like Aparillo or Synthscaper, but without the steep learning curve. It’s so easy!
I finally figured out how to properly save a patch in the standalone (hit the lock button in the parch browser) but I still don’t know how to load my standalone patches in the AUv3 plugin. Anyone know?
tap and scroll down to "user"
Sweet! Thanks so much!
Yes, @Shabudua , I keep hearing similar results as I get with Aparillo but with much less head scratching as to how I got there.
This to me would be better as a effect plugin
wondering how the effect would be on a nice sounding piano
Long time listener... first time caller.
Big question... how hard will it be to share zips of User presets? Something tells me @Spidericemidas will make some magic with this capability and for $8 it could be
inspiring.
I personally from the free presets to need something extra so I put them through
ShimmerVerb and was getting more of the things I love Wavestation for.
If we can hare presets then I'm in ASAP.
I'll take my answer on the air. (click)
Care to post some recorded examples? If you're getting great results, I'd like to hear them. My initial impressions were not very positive.
I haven’t got it yet as I’m working on some stuff for Addstation. But I am curious and interested in PolyWave. No doubt I will pull the trigger and have a tinker. I asked someone about patch sharing. They said it’s only one at a time at the moment. Maybe if there’s enough interest and requests, the Devs might provide bank sharing. Seems like there’s a lot of interesting possibilities with this one!
I just got FRMS and have owned Nave for years. Do you folks think that Polywave is going to bring home some sounds I couldn't get from them easily?
New major release, v2.0 !!

Cool.
Amazing update! The random play mode is very cool.
This synth is capable of astonishing results. I'm surprised it's not more popular.
any demo of the new features!?
thnx
Does anyone know in which format Polywave imports waveforms? I tried with wav files, but they are all grayed out
Really nice new features btw!
Shhhhh, it's a secret! Can't give away the secret sauce...
And yes, this update is the absolute shiznit. I can't stop smiling.
Still haven't had time to dive deeply into this synth, but to their credit PolyWave now has complete parity on both iOS and macOS. They just added AUv3 for desktop.
@relpot, I have just discovered the synth won’t work as an AUv3 in GarageBand on macOS… anyone else experiencing this? Checked other AUv3 synths just to be sure, and it’s only the PolyWave app that isn’t working or generating any sound.
And another thing… regarding the randomization on the iOS version (since that’s the only version I can test as of right now), more than half the time randomizing the settings yields no usable results. Perhaps take a close look at how Toneboosters’ own Flowtones is able to randomize and yet still deliver a musically relevant sound. Especially when it comes to volume. Thanks!
"musically relevant" ??
for my part, i'm very pleased with the randomizer in polywave, whereas i find the one in flowtones a bit "tame"?:)
I stand by my opinion.
Flowtones allows one to push randomization towards non-musical extremes, if that is what one is after. Being able to adjust a set of parameters prior to throwing the dice would be quite useful.
@relpot Polywave, Mynth and Flynth synth’s on my Mac keep reverting to not purchased before the recent update Polywave was fine, but now I constantly have to re-purchase them, which messes up projects using them.
Hello everyone. I have a problem-I turn on Polywave in Drambo and the presets are played on one note independently. Playback is not enabled at the same time. The notes on the keyboard are not pressed. In Polywave, I switched Local/Host modes. Nothing helps. I didn't find anything in the settings either. Can someone tell me?
I am having trouble understanding. Could you post a screen recording to help me understand?

Sorry.
I still don’t understand what you are asking.
When I run it for the first time, everything works fine. After switching the preset, PolyWave starts playing a note (in this case, D#). I don't press anything on the keyboard. Only after I press D# does the note playback stop. Then I switch the preset and everything repeats until I hit a note and it stops sounding.
And so everywhere except AUM. When switching, the playback of one note is triggered. I didn't touch anything in the settings. This has never happened before. Both on iphone and ipad.
Ok. That I can understand. 😆
Yes, I can confirm it is happening here too.
Also in AUM using AUM KB.
It doesn’t do this in standalone mode using the internal PolyWave KB.
So I a going to say it is likely a bug. I suggest reaching out to Fingerlab and report it. I may try later, too.
One other thing I noticed.
It takes an initial key press to cause the strange behavior, and any key can trigger it. The behavior continues even after you disconnect the KB, so it seems the AU is storing the first key press and that is causing the unwanted note trigger while browsing presets.
Curious😁I'll try to write to the developer. Thanks for the tips🙌
