[FIXED] EG Pulse “Couldn’t communicate with a helper application”?

Out of nowhere, when I try to load EG Pulse in AUM either as an instrument or an effect, it fails to load and I get the message “Couldn’t communicate with a helper application.” The app loads and works fine in stand-alone. Has anyone else come across this issue? Any advice?

Not that it couldn't be an issue with Pulse specifically, but it seems to be a common general problem as well: https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/77255. I've experienced it occasionally while developing. Usually a restart (or worst case a reinstall of the app in question) will fix it.

I tried restarting and it didn’t help. I’m hesitant to reinstall the app because I have patterns I don’t want to lose.

  • Getting the same here.

Pulse was updated a few days ago. Maybe the app’s broken. I’ll contact EG.

  • New update fixed it.

  • This thread title needs changing because it is now inaccurate and misleading.

Just a simple prefix of “FIXED: “ would be enough.

Sorry, the newest update wasn’t available to me until this morning, and it did fix the bug.
