  • I’d heard they were using it live and why not, it sounds great.

I’ve got to be “that guy” though…it’s not AUv3

  • What app is that?

  • Isn't that Streetlytron?

In the context he’s using it auv3 makes no difference.

    I think it's Mellotron M3000 HD

Yeah, I know. I was just having a laugh at the standard response here about any app that isn’t AUv3. Perhaps I should’ve added a smiley or something. What you say is very valid though, it’s a great app, just play the bloody thing

Streetytron is good. You can morph with a mod wheel to create a choir. Plus helium I think will record modwheel

  • Didn’t he always say his Mellotron playing is limited to one finger on each hand? I’d imagine this is the perfect setup for him.

  • Thank God it's not Drambo - we'd never hear the end of it . LOL

    I think you are correct

  • It would definitely be a lot easier to haul around than a mellotron

Streetlytron, or any mellotron, is for beginners. I synthesized every note individually with Drambo. Well, of one patch so far. In 55 years I’ll be ready to use it on a gig.

Just kidding, I haven’t been able to make heads or tails of Drambo at all. I have used Streetlytron on a recording through IDAM though.

The Streetlytron Pro replaced the M3000HD; same developer. Sounds little better and has more sounds.

Ah ok. Looks more like M3000HD on the actual photo though?

Yes it does, though hard to be positive. Either way, you can’t get the M3000HD anymore, but the Streetlytron Pro is there and totally a great app with the same (and more) sounds.

Lol. You been cracked me up recently. I guess you saw the new drambo thread too… piano roll coming soon.

  • First time I saw King Crimson was in 1971, I was so excited to see a Mellotron in person. The damn thing broke down early in the set and no Tron! The iPad app obviously made his life much easier.
