iPad Pro M1 + Apesoft = cracklings appearing after 1 minute ?
Hi,
I was not sure initially but now it is clear to me. Everytime I use an Apesoft app on my iPad Pro M1, after 1 or 2 minutes of use, the sound begins progressively to crackle, 10 secondes after what it is no longer audible. The only workaround is to switch the sample rate from 44,1 to 48 kHz (or the opposite). Then I have 1 or 2 minutes again of usability until the issue appears again.
It does this with Apesoft standalone apps (like vintage accordion) as well as non Apesoft apps hosted in ApeMatrix.
Is someone else here experiencing the same issue ?
Thank you very much !
Cheers.

Happens also with GarageBand and simple built-in sounds…
So, am I the only idiot to have a brand new iPad Pro M1 and all the sounds crackling after just a few minutes of use, even doing nothing exotic… ?!
I can’t believe this is the UX offered by Apple with their flagship iPad and already several iOS 15 updates 🤔
Ok, problem mostly solved… it comes from my usb-c to mini jack adapter.
If I unplug/replug it, the crackles disappear (but for how long…? I have to test yet).
Probably the DAC inside the adapter has something to do with all of this but it’s a very weird behavior because it appears slowly.
