Multiple hardware MIDI ports from Beatmaker 2?

edited June 2014 in General App Discussion

I see them listed in the MIDI config but can't sort out how to tell a particular track to use a particular port. Is this possible?

  • Not with BM2. Cubasis does. It's the only one that does. :(

  • Sigh. Thanks @dwarman

  • OTOH, is your MIDI that dense that you cannot afford to rely on the destination to pick and choose? MidiBridge will filter by channels on outputs too. fiddly to set up but it does do it. iMidiPatchbay may also be able to split channels out to different ports.

@dwarman Hey, that's a great idea, thanks. No, my midi isn't that dense I just have a particular hardware setup I can't get around at the moment involving more than one port.

  • should be able to send to both then
