Apple Pencil 2 or budget stylus ?

I’m buying a new M1 iPad with a Logitech Combo Touch keyboard for music production . Should I spring for the Apple Pencil 2 vs the Amazon Rando stylus or the Logitech crayon?

    Apple Pencil all the way. I think the other styli you mention only work with the lightning iPads.

    Also the apple one is great and obviously snaps to the top of the iPad for charging. Some things aren’t worth the cost saving.

    The one app I use a Pencil with is Staffpad and it only works with the Apple product.

    I have an Apple Pencil 1 for my iPad 6 and though I find it useful, I’m constantly forgetting to charge it. If I had an iPad that supported Pencil 2, I wouldn’t even think about another stylus. Having your Pencil charged and ready when you want it is the selling point IMO. It also has a fair amount of added capability over the other options.

    I started with the Logitech Crayon, and later went with the pencil. I don't regret it, but the Apple Pencil is genuinely better.

    The logotech crayon did allow me to use 1 pencil for multiple tablets.

    I needed to upgrade my pencil to have this "braindead" re-charging feature and I need a new iPad to support the re-charging feature. Thx. This is a better plan than hoping my brain gets fixed. The developer is non-responsive.

    I know you decided, I’m just adding to the pile. I have a 2018 iPad so Apple Pencil 1 for me, but it is definitely one product apple got absolutely right and there isn’t another stylus that’s close to it that I’ve tried. I use it only for note taking with Goodnotes or sometimes writing on other things, but it’s awesome.

    @klownshed @Telstar5 Just a note, Logitech Crayon is great, half price or less than the Apple product, and not limited to the lightning iPads (i bought it for my usb c Air 4)
    I guess what was meant is the crayon charges with the lightning cable
    (Which many of us have left over…)
