SOLVED AUM as a mixer for hardware (Latency issue)
Hi gang, I was hoping to use AUM as a mixer for some hardware to solve some setup problems but so far I have massive lag. I am using Artrurias Audiofuse and KSP.
I plugged a MAM MB33 box into the soundcard and open the channel in AUM but I have 1 second+ latency so far. Is there anything i have missed so far?
I have buffer to 128 on the lowest hertz setting.
is it supposed to be viable to use it as a mixer for hardware?

I forgot to say I was using KSP as a midi clock source from Audiobus 3, so I can sync time to use software effects. This was the idea. When I removed AB3 from the chain the latency was fixed, but now I don't know how to use KSP as a master clock... hm.
Is there a way to set it so it only gets the clock from KSP and doesn't have to process the midi notes? That one second latency was brutal
I've used AUM as the switchboard to exchange 2 stereo channels with 2 external DAWs (using the 4 analog ports of an iCA4+) for quite some time.
Regular performance in the latency domain, just what the buffer suggests plus a tiny overhead from the external units, which both were hardware DSP based.
Maybe you have some clock signal (midi f.e.) that interferes. (?)
I set AUM as clock source instead, and the KSP takes it in when you set it to USB in. On to the next issue
