Had a day off work sick so finally got around to learning Drambo

I’ve had it ages too.

I followed a tutorial from Doug (sound test room) which got me going.

  • Welcome to the Club...it's the best investment you can make on iOS IMHO when it comes to having tons of fun making music on Glass.

  • Priorities should align with the most important things in life!

10 years from now... will be happier that you went to work today, or that you learned Drambo?!?!?

  • BTW, in case you don't know, there are tutorial accesses via Drambo itself.

  • This is troubling... you have to be sick to learn Drambo. I wonder how much can be learned if you
    catch Covid.

How much have you learned? I’ve been learning it since it came out and still haven’t learned everything.

  • I have a play about every now and again but I still haven't really used it much. I have no doubt that it is lovely and amazing but not yet a creative tool for me..

I will have a look. Thanks.

  • If it's of any comfort I've been with Drambo for a long, long time and still don't know 'everything' about it :sunglasses:

    Is Drambo like life?

    Good that it’s so deep.

I’ve got covid and off work, maybe it’s time to learn Drambo, maybe I’ll join cyberheater.

Doug’s tutorial, any other tutorial you’d recommend? I know there are a lot of threads, but they are wicked long.

    Ben Richards.

It takes a little while for it to click but when it does, Drambo becomes life.

Yepp! That's what I like about it.

The question is not if Drambo can do it but rather how to actually do it as you can build almost anything within reasonable limits as long as the CPU can handle it.

For ideas there's patch storage page with plenty to play around with and learn from.
    https://patchstorage.com/platform/drambo/

And if you get stuck head over to http://forum.beepstreet.com/

Drambo is deep and rewards those who learn it...
The WaveTable IAP is worth it if wave-table synthesis is of any interest.

    Enjoy The Ride :sunglasses:

  • Welcome On board @cyberheater. Enjoy the dive into the rabit hole 😉

Same here, except have a play for me is opening it, staring at it in bewilderment, and swearing I’ll get to it at some point but not today…

  • OK I admit I have had Drambo since it was released and never learned it.
Watching Doug's video now shame on me....
