iRig Pro - no usb

Hello
I use iRig pro for connecting mic and midi to iPad
I'm thinking of getting novation launchkey mini which connects via usb, but then I won't be able to connect iRig
Please suggest an adapter or maybe another midi keys
I like LK mini because it's small and has 8 rotary controls (i need them for turnado)

Is it hard for iPad to power midi keys via usb if it's running loopy, turnado and sample tank? (iPad air)
