If it sends midi and works with iOS then there's nothing in particular that would make it better or worse for Loopy verses any other app. Midi is midi.
I don't see anything listed about how configurable the pedal is is. That's not a concern for Loopy as it is completely configurable.
The more meaningful question is whether or not it works well as a foot pedal. Unfortunately I can't help with that. I do like the looks of the switch layout. The staggered switches seem like they'd be easy to find. I like the clicky kind of foot switches better than something like the Blueboard switches too. Some people don't like to hear that audible click, but I find it reassuring.
