OT?: Korg Module Pro Expansion packs trials and special prices?

Just trying to confirm if I select a trial of some new sound packs for the Korg Module, if the Black Friday special price will hold for the end of the 7 day trial period?

Comments

  • Dunno. I’m trying out the orchestral dreams and solo violin packs myself, and I’m pretty impressed so far.

  • Yes i am impressed with this updated Korg Module Pro - I dissed it a long time ago as not really ready for "prime time", but Korg have really stepped up in improving it.

I am trialling Scarbee EP and the Organs packs (50% off) - very nice! haha, I probably will not wait for the trial to end I might just buy them

I've tried Orchestral dreams and as I already
    have, 'String Ensemble', from BeatHawk
I decided not to get Orchestral Dreams but listening to
the new Solo violin I may just get that as it does sound good.
You have to put a velocity limiter on the midi because
the arpeggio run can get a little bit annoying when trying
to actually play solos and taking off the inbuilt eq and delay
and adding your own brings the sounds more to life.

Currently listening to see how it sounds within a virtual string section.

It's okay sounding, there's enough expression to convey
emotion as a violin can be quite an emotional instrument.

  • thanks, yeah I knew that....just wondering as I d/l the trial if it will still apply JUST in case I don't proceed until after that date.

  • I assume if you buy after the sale ends you’ll pay full price. Regardless if you downloaded the trial.
Unless they’ll extend the sale (which Korg have done in the past).

I'm definitely getting the Solo violin.
I've just recorded a solo with the demo.and with adjustments
it sounds convincing enough for a real player to use as a guide take.

    I went for both.
    That's my string section covered.

I now have two solo instruments and enough range to cover a real orchestra.

    It's sounding good.
