Edit: Updated title to name apps I'm using (or apps that are using me?).
Updated version of the song here. I feel like it's almost finished with some minor changes/fixes/tweaking needed. Wondering how the key changes and outro work for others (I kinda think they're money lol).
earlier version:
I've been having a tough time getting a guitar tone I'm happy with, but this seems to be OK. Not sure if the intro might be a bit too long and if the mix hangs together well. Suggestions welcome!

Nice! Intro reminds me of Cinderella or this, sort of, but less effected.
Keep 'em coming.
Thanks! Cinderella is one of my all time underrated bands, hehe. That one is one of my faves from Lita Ford; I didn't know there was a version with Ozzy!
Do you think that the two guitars going on at the same time work ? I want to have dueling guitars, but not sure if it's working that great here.
When you said 'dueling guitars', I thought Iron Maiden. 🤘
It's thick and massive, and a different sort of harmony than, say, Maiden, but I don't know enough about music theory to help.
Is the lower one downtuned? The higher one - maybe play it even higher? Either way, it's different, and works for me.
But I like it and want to hear more! 👍
The lower one is a different preset in Geoshred (both guitars use the Total Rock Fifths preset with all the effects turned off so I can use the nembrini audio units I have). I messed a bit with some of the modeling in both of them, so they have different material curves per this thread's tip: https://forum.audiob.us/discussion/25597/secrets-of-geoshred-palm-mute-part-2
Thank you for the feedback and encouragement!
Speaking of dueling guitars with thick mixes, I wonder how you would like this one (I came across it in Spotify by pure chance):![](https://img.youtube.com/vi/hEoJwJlA4kc/0.jpg)
Ah, so it was Geoshred, fooled me. It's got that synthy vibe like Faith No More's 'Epic'. Any actual guitars on the track?
Blüe Barrel - never heard of them, thanks for the link. So far - they're really damn talented, mixed well, and have been around a while, yet only have a handful of followers on Soundcloud and Youtube.
Sounds great!
The original version of the single ‘Close my eyes Forever’ was Ozzy and Lita Ford, though I’m sure she performs it live nowadays, (without Ozzy) wherever she can.
I think they are! I was not into the rest of the album on first listen like I was into this particular song, but it's all very well done.
Thanks!
Oooh, I see. I could have sworn after listening to her solo version on Spotify that it was the first one I heard lol. It's amazing how the present can color your memories.![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Hehe, no. No real guitars. No real musicians either
It's 99% auto generated by Riffler and Piano Motifs, though I did arpeggiate the initial chord progression myself.
This is my latest version! I want to change some notes and riffs here and there, and the drums might be better. I feel there's a bit too much guitar feedback in places as well.
However, I am feeling like the main structure of it is almost finished! I don't know if the outro works as well as I think it does or if it's just that I like the riff/motif combo so much. Maybe it should be its own song, idk.
Nice sound and chord progression
Thank you!
