Anyone using a USB-C 3.1 gen2 hub that works well?
I have too many drives hooked up to my Mac. I already have a thunderbolt dock, so I don’t want to spend on another. I thought I might use a USB-C 3.1 gen 2 hub to connect the backup drives.
Any recommendations for reliable, full-speed units?
I understand that I can only get the full 10Gbps for a single drive at a time, but these are backup drives, so they won’t be running at the same time anyway.

I’m very happy with my USB-C hub Sitecom CN-386. My WD Elements drive is only USB 3.0, so I can’t tell if the specs on paper match with reality. It works on my iPad and on my Mac reliably. One thing to be aware of is that it doesn’t support DP-Alt, so no monitors.

No monitors needed! I saw that Sitecom hub mentioned on Reddit, but didn’t see a European link. Thanks!
