ERS_EchORek2 - ERS_DimD - ERS_250 by DDMF - Classic Vintage Effects for iOS
The ERS_EchORek2, ERS_DimD & ERS_250 by DDMF are truly outstanding recreations of three classic hardware effects units.
The ERS EchORek 2 is based on the Binson Echorek, this unit was produced between 1961 and 1979 and was widely used by Pink Floyd, Hank Marvin, and many others.
The ERS 250 is based on the very first digital hardware reverb made in 1976 by EMT, they made around 250 units and at the time retailed for a whopping $15,000.
Finally, the world-renowned Roland Dimension D is represented here the ERS DimD, the Dimension D was in tons of studios all over the world and was probable on pretty much every album in the 80s.
It first appeared in 1979 and is still loved today, the ERS version gives us a few more controls but still retains the warmth and character of the original.
To my ears, these sound very true to the original hardware, they give a unique flavor to your sound that is both nostalgic and refreshing.
