Can I use a Movesense transmitter to change CC values in AnimoogZ?
I had lost my sensor, my Movesense sensor for over a year and a half and have now redisocovered it. Is it possible to Midi learn or change the CC values of AnimoogZ using the Movesense. I have paired it with the Holonist app and fooled around with Mirack but am lost as to how I achieve this. Many thanks to anyone who can help. Cheers.

In Animoog Z ,you can enable MIDI Mapping in Settings–>MIDI. Select a knob to learn it. Or double tap the knob to enter the CC# manually.
Could you explain what Movesense transmits, and what Holonist does? Are you using Animoog Z stand-alone, or as AUv3 in a host?
Holon.ist is an app that connects to sensors, like weather, location and gyroscopes. Movesense is a wearable sensor that can pick up 72 sensors and transmit this back to the holon.ist app. You will need Mirack app inside AUM or Audiobus to convert the CC message into midi notes.
Wow! So, holon.ist generates CCs. As I already said, you can configure Animoog Z controls to respond to those CCs. If you don't know which CCs are being generated, use a MIDI monitor, like MIDI Wrench, to find out.
Yeah it should work with movesense and holonist as long as the movesense firmware is compatible with Holonist. Here's a video from earlier this year where I used an iPhone like a movesense controller. Holonist is in miRack AU and sending cc to control various AUs.
This reminds me that BLE MIDI can send CC directly to AUM. I was just catching up on what Espruino was doing and I see there's a hackable watch (Bangle.js) with a new version coming out early next year.
I helped add the BLE MIDI code to Espruino.
