Lumbeats Future Drummer. Can someone help explain the interface please?
Future Drummer. I have picked it up a few times, but. Get confused as to the initial interface and how it is meant to be used. I’m sure I can’t be alone here. There is no manual, and any videos that I have seen skip over it.
I’m sure this drum machine would get more attention were it not for this.
In the Bank (1) there only seems to be one available slot for ‘user’. How do you create a new user bank?
If you cannot create a new user bank- does this mean that all user material is to be placed into section (2)? If this is the case and all you material is in here you cannot seem to edit the sub - headings ‘Back beat, syncopated’ etc - but don’t want these- I don’t even know what they are.
Now all my new (and sometimes unrelated) patterns are all spread throughout this section.
Also in section (2) sometimes when you light up three or four sections - then all options in the rhythm section disappear.
It’s all maybe somehow related to song mode, but I can’t seem to open that up to play around with it.
Any input would be appreciated that might help me understand what is going on here 🤔

Speaking for myself, I see cluttered interfaces like this and am grateful I’ve stuck with the options available in GarageBand. That’s a real mess of a UI.
(1) ALL user beats end up in the user bank.. no options that I know of.. you can’t assign a category (sub-heading) to your own beats..
(2) The sub-headings (Intro,Verse etc…) are only there to help you narrow down your choices when searching for a beat.. one category at a time.. (if you choose more than one, there may be no choices left) and they’re only suggestions.. This works the same way in Song mode..
Choose your Bank, select a category, and the rhythm choices are whittled down.. the only category that’s helpful for me is the half-time category.. but you could also play a normal beat at half the speed too..
The entries in the second column are filters for the built-in rhythms. If you select a category on the left, then a filter on the second column, and there are no rhythms in that category that fit the filters you won’t see anything in the rhythm column.
OK Thanks folks - I thought that might be the deal, it’s maybe a case of thinking about the names you allocate as you can have them listed as A-Z. It’s a bit of a strange way of organising it I think, but at least I know I’m on the right track. Like I say I’ve had it out a few times and never felt I was getting the most out of it. This time though it is going great, once you learn to tame it a bit and get it to provide more subtle variations etc instead of the chaos it is capable of it really pays off.

I’ve got into the song mode, so you can organise your patterns in order here including fills AND you can loop the whole thing…. great for jamming away with. Worth having a go with if you haven’t already 👍
Anyone knows what does this do?
Thanks..
Love this app.. wish it was AUV3
I believe that links a preset and a drum kit. So picking the preset selects the kit too.
The lock prevents kits from changing when selecting presets.
At times it is , but since I have his other apps , it was easy for me to get a hang.
If you read manual for one his drum apps , you should get the “general” idea
One of his best apps for sure
