Hello, WMWM. We need a little clarity about this prize thing. What do you mean by, 'Will the team members of both teams send an email with a prioritized list of your choice of apps. First pick goes to the top vote getter, Medussa's theme.' The way I think we understand it, we, as the winners of this contest, would pick the apps between ourselves, so it would look something like this. Digitalresonance: Echo Pad, Swoopster, Stereo Designer, Caustic, Guitar Capo. Peanutcram: Caustic, Guitar Capo, BeatMaker. Me: Crystalline, Caustic, Guitar Capo. Is the other team getting prizes as well? Are we going back and forth, or what? Some clarity is needed here. Thanks.

That should do it arcane
Peanutcram June 5
That's cool

Is there a reason why you just didn't answer us here, so all three of us could see your response at the same time?
WMWM June 5
No sir, check your email you entered the challenge with, it answers any questions.
ArcaneScreams June 5
Can you just copy and paste it here, so Peanut and I can see it?
WMWM June 5
Patience old soul, you shall reap the fruit of your labor, my way is to deal with the "team representative" through email, been the plan from the beginning. BTW these PM's aren't so P.
Great job Arcane for the song Medusa you helped make. Really glad you enjoyed this experience of creating with others and appreciate the support you showed during its inception.

@WMWM Ok, so this is part of the email that you sent to Digital earlier, which pertains to this conversation, and the clarity we were asking for earlier.
"Congratulations, please give me a prioritized list of desired apps. You pick your app first then the other teams picks their top priority, then process repeats untill all codes are used. Like I promised in thread, if you enter you win. Please keep in mind that some developers DONATED 1 code (see op on forum for list). A big time thanks to those developers who gave up cash for the cause."
The following statement was posted June 4th, after you announced a winner in this competition.
"Will the team members of both teams send an email with a prioritized list of your choice of apps. First pick goes to the top vote getter, Medussa's theme."
"Like I promised in thread, if you enter you win." This statement has nothing to do with the apps donated to this contest. It goes back to this conversation with CSwinn, when the two of you were discussing how this contest should go. Here is your part of the conversation. CSWinn deleted his part.
"Good ideas CSwinn. I took a model on the voting from another competition. I understand the concern, If there is a second on that notion of complication in voting, I will reconsider.
CSwinn said "might scare em away" well here's what I have noticed on the web and why I say "Challenge"
There are some who will never participate in any challenge.
Some won't participate because their "in crowd" isn't participating. I've been around a number of forums, This is all par for the course.
Also, there are some who will not participate because of fear of failure. The only loss in this challenge is not participating. If you enter, you win, regardless of how the vote turns out. Its all about growth and expression, not popularity or skill.
Some wont participate because they like to spectate, which is cool, I also spectate, but please vote so the participants are not "like a dog without a bone, an actor out alone ".
Some want others who try, to fail, like they feel they have, which is a shame.
Some won't for lack of time."
You're talking about something completely different here. Participation. Where exactly did you state that the prizes would be distributed in this way? No where. Not anywhere, in any thread, until the contest was over. What would have happened if 20 or 50 people entered, and you had only 5 or 6 apps to give away? I think that you saw how few people entered, and saw that the apps would cover each one of us getting one as a gift for entering, so you changed how they would be distributed.
I do not agree with how this is going. I like openness and fairness. I think the other team members need to speak with us, so we can distribute the apps fairly among each other, making sure that everyone is generously provided with an app they can use. Starting with us, as we won this round. I think Digital should get first pick, followed by Peanut, then me, then their team leader, then the other two, based on their amount of contribution. We can then send you that list, and you can send out the codes. This would ensure that every participant receives an app that they could use. And it would be open for discussion, not picked behind the scenes.
@Digitalresonance @Peanutcram What do you think?
ArcaneScreams June 5
@WMWM "BTW these PM's aren't so P. " Exactly. This is a private conversation between the four of us.
ArcaneScreams June 5
By the way, this is not meant as aggressive, or confrontational towards you. I like you, and have been supportive of how you have lead this round. This is about clarity, nothing more.
ArcaneScreams June 5
I stand corrected. You did mention app distribution. Here. WMWM May 19
"The ones marked multiple are one for each teammate, barring a supergroup entry. Each app is superb in its own right.
The real prize though is getting to work with another member, possibly worth more than all apps combined."

Lol... Did any of this get sorted yet?

I'm closing this here. I don't know exactly what's going on but this seems like exactly the kind of drama that everybody hates. Bumping a thread half a dozen times does not seem like a healthy way to have a discussion.
