Hindustan Boutique / SWAM Bansuri Bass Flute
This was a very interesting track for me…
1. The combination of Indian Drummer and Jazz Drummer
2. Extensive midi editing of the flute improvisation. Much more than usual. But maybe not enough.
3. The SM2 arp had some interesting and unexpected artifacts (which I liked)
4. A deep chord exploration on the Piano.

Thank you @StudioSisu. Nice to hear from you.
That Bass Flute is such a wonderful sound. I just watched the Heinbach "Gong Amp" demo and I want to push interesting sounds through it but it's NOT an IOS plug in (yet?).
I thought the arp added a nice surprise which I also liked.
Your chord choices are always interesting and unexpected.
That’s my favorite SWAM factory preset, although I’ve modified it a bit for myself.
Thanks @McD, lol, I rarely am suprised by the noises I make, but I am surprised that it is I who actually makes them.
@Wrlds2ndBstGeoshredr, strangely, I find it a bit hard to work with. What do you think of the SwarPlug bansuri?
You can reduce the instability in the patch by turning off overblow and dialing back the harmonic gain control. Me, I turned it way up!
Michael, i love your ear for melody and there is some lovely interplay between the flute and piano. After listening this is lingering in a very pleasant way for me. But at certain points the percussion / drums doesn't work for me. I personally find it hard to use drums well, which is why I mostly avoid them. Especially on this kind of music I feel a real drummer / percussionist is needed. Good drum programming is hard and time consuming!
@gavinski, indeed. I feel Jazz Drummer gives me a bit more control, but I always expect the drums not to be working right at various points… especially if I may have strayed from the click track. Try listening to Sequestration, if you would. It’s the same keyboard part minus the flute and a redo of the drums. I’m glad you liked the bansuri but I have some mixed feelings about that, too. Hence the remix. Thx for listening and have a great and peaceful holiday. Hope your eyes are ok.
